Ms Brady said her mother is "ok" but is "pretty shaken" and has "absolutely no idea why anybody would target her home".

“I wondered why anybody, under those conditions, decided to make a beautiful, beaded dress. Why was beauty so important? And that question — Why beauty? — is still with me. The only answer I can come up with is that, in a weird way, beauty is a manifestation of hope.”

“I wasn’t really looking to shock anybody out of their mind with that outfit,” she said.

There’s zebra print with the fringe, and if you look around, you really won’t see anybody else with the boots on, so I like to be an original person.
