While she’s taking on a new Strauss role and doing more Verdi and Puccini, much of the opera world is waiting for the day she begins singing the two Wagnerian parts that represent the pinnacle of the dramatic repertory: Isolde, and ����ü�ԲԳ󾱱���� in the “Ring” cycle.

The “Todesverkündigung,” the dreamlike scene in “Die Walküre” in which ����ü�ԲԳ󾱱���� appears to Siegmund in a vision, was steadily, hauntingly built.
