Rhabdomyoma, rab-dō-mī-ō′ma, n. a myoma consisting of striated muscular fibres.

The benign tumours known as fibroids or myomata are very common.

In fact, the clinical differentiation between myoma and fibroma is almost impossible.

Tumours.—Innocent tumours—fibroma, lipoma, myoma—are comparatively rare.

Cases of retention, epithelial and dermoid cysts have been observed; and there are isolated reports of the finding of papillomata, fibromata, lipomata, myomata and adenomata.
