Organizers spoke with Nebraskans about the value of paid sick leave, created educational materials and bought ad space to boost voter awareness.

Osborn has refused to toe either party’s line, though he has certainly adopted popular positions on two issues that Nebraskans will weigh in on this November: cannabis and abortion.

“Nebraskans are no strangers to severe weather and, as they have countless times before, Nebraskans will help Nebraskans to rebuild,” Pillen said.

“This decision is a blow to Nebraska’s public records law, a law written to protect media outlets like ours and Nebraskans like yourselves from the secrecy of those who hold power.”

“We are thrilled with the court’s decision to grant this injunction and uphold Nebraskans’ rights against executive overreach,” said Jacob Huebert, president of the Liberty Justice Center.
