Especially in springtime, you’ll find some have vibrant blue patches brightening their stomachs and throats, hence their other name: “blue bellies.”

On Tuesday, not so much, the Lakers showing their clear dominance in every area backed by a legendarily springtime loud home crowd that annually shakes, rattles and rolls.

Now that the weather is warmer and the sun is finally out for longer, I’ve been whipping up some of my favorite springtime meals.
